Born and raised in Southern California, I was exposed to motorcycles from birth. It was a desire to design these motorcycles that led me to Art Center. While there, I fell in love with the design process… car, motorcycle, it didn’t matter after that. I just wanted to create exciting vehicles and have been lucky enough to do that for a few companies so far. Currently, I am very proud to design cars for Hyundai Motors and feel privileged to have taught some very gifted students at Art Center College of Design.

The Arnold boys

Growing up, my dad ran the Honda Motocross Race Team. He worked with the best riders in the sport and engineered their bikes to help win championships.

His father was an aerospace engineer that spent most of his career engineering ejection seats in Burbank, CA.

Needless to say, the Arnold men that proceeded me had really cool careers and I’m just trying to design some cool shit so that my son Wyatt (our future astronaut) thinks my job is cool too.
